Over the last few weeks, I have made a couple of trips down to the Seven Sisters near Eastbourne. The Seven Sisters make an impressive backdrop and I wanted to try and give the impression of their size as well as the power of the waves and the scenery in general. So here are seven images of the Seven Sisters taken from those two visits. Some are just standard pics and some are long exposures, trying to make sense of the millpond that is the sea when the waves are larger.
My first visit was just a windy afternoon and the light was a little flat so for the second visit, I arrived just after dawn to keep the sun low and force as much texture into the cliff faces as possible. I agree that dawn might have been a better option but maybe I’ll try that next time – it’s a long way to drive if the sun isn’t in the mood!
Beautiful shots, Fraser.
