They say that mad dogs, Englishmen and the occasional photographer are the only ones to venture out into the midday sun and now I know why.
We set off from Meldon Reservoir to walk to Black Tor on Dartmoor and return via Yes Tor, certainly a beautiful day and a great walk but it was too hot! Walks on Dartmoor always seem to take longer than planned and we were more than happy to see the ice cream van in the car park when we finally got back to civilisation
