Spent a morning trundling around Sissinghurst Castle with the rest of the National Trust, in retrospect I should have waited for a nice sunny week day to make our first visit
my lens wasn’t wide enough to get the whole shot in so this image was made as a panorama from four panned shots
trying to make Sissinghurst look empty on one of the busiest days of the Spring wasn’t an easy task
I had to wait quite a while for the queues to die down for this shot – The little reading room isn’t open very often
This lone red flower caught my eye
of course we’ll be back later in the year to see the new displays of flowers etc
