I had never witnessed a lightning storm that was so intense and lasted so long as the Storm on Saturday night. It started at about 22:30 and raged until well past midnight with less than a minute, often a lot less, between each strike.
Unfortunately, I was unable to get out into the storm until nearly 1:00 am by which time things had died down a little but this image was still shot in a little over 4 minutes as the storm moved away.
