Spring was doing it’s thing and the sky was perfectly blue as we set off to take a shot that I knew existed, viewing The Seven Sisters from Hope Gap near Cuckmere Haven.

As we set off on the short walk from the car park to the beech, young lambs bounded about in the field next to us and the view unfolded impressively in front of us. We descended the path onto the beech and the tripod came out to play. It wasn’t long before we realised that although the view was great, we were in fact on Cuckmere Haven Beech and not at Hope Gap where I wanted to take the shot. We walked back across the cliff and climbed down the stepsĀ at Hope Gap. The tide was out a way and the rocks were very slippery but I think I got some nice images. I shall return one day perhaps for a sunset session!
