As my daughter had been living in York for the past year, I had driven past the Ferrybridge C Powerstation a few times. Now, the time had come to move her out of her flat and return her south. I only had one chance left to make a photograph of the Ferrybridge Powerstation – as I knew it was marked for demolition later in the year too!
I parked up and set up my tripod on a service bridge over the M11 and took shots of the light trails as the rush hour traffic made its way along below. There was a bit of a haze in the air which meant that the towers were not as clear as I’d hoped and the low cloud also scuppered any chance of a sunset but I was still happy with the images that I made.
