I won’t lie, I had always thought of the rare breeds centre near Tenterden as an attraction for little children who wanted nothing more than to stroke a pig and pat a goat but it wasn’t until I started to search for local butterfly displays that I realised that the Rare Breed Centre might have a little more to offer.
Aside from the very hot and humid butterfly tunnel there was a great flying display of raptors and owls and lots of other fun critters to point a large camera at. I had a fun day and will certainly be revisiting at some point in the future.
