As we were driving across the Dales towards Settle we came across a small herd of rather photogenic Highland Cattle so of course, I just had to stop and grab a few shots – a good start to the day indeed!
We arrived at Settle and set off on our ‘short’ circular walk up on to the hills to see Victoria Cave and the Warrendale Knotts. It was a pleasant enough day and the views were pretty epic. Just the kind of place in fact, that I would love to return to with some epic light. As it was, the Warrendale Knotts proved to be an interesting landscape feature and made for some OK images.
