I found myself with a few minutes to spare so decided to head off into the city and shoot some of the landmarks in London, including The Shard and 20 Fenchurch Street but I also headed up towards Tower Bridge.
I was nearly halfway across Tower Bridge when I realised that it was about open to let a yacht through, so I turned around and ran back across the bridge, down the steps and along the banks of the Thames a little way so that I could get a better angle as the bridge opened.
The other thing that caught my eye was all of the new construction being carried out adjacent to the Tower of London. I felt it showed a real contrast between old and new, so I took a couple of snaps.
