We spent this year’s ‘friends holiday’ in and around Hayle in Cornwall. The weather was not the best, it had been beautiful in the weeks preceding and was again lovely afterwards but we made the most of what we had and did a few nice walks. The highlight of the week was the sunset that we witnessed while on the beach near our cottage. I did try and catch Gareth being attacked ny one of the ever present gulls in St Ives but just failed to get the focus pin-sharp – but it’s a fun pic anyway
We were also lucky enough to catch the last of the poppies growing in the fields over West Pentire overlooking Crantock bay.
